We look for people who have a safety-first mindset, who are collaborative team players, who deliver on their commitments, act with integrity, and who support inclusion.Working at Nutrien Ag Solutions will provide you an opportunity to help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company canbe, andgrow your career.What you will do:Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipmentPerform repair, troubleshooting or general maintenance work of various types of pumping systems, compressors, generators, reactors, heat exchangers, filters and agitators in operationPerform regular preventive maintenance on various types of production equipment, including but not limited to valves, electric motors, pumps, gear boxes and vehicles, machines and plant facilitiesPerform electrical installation and repair of switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, VFD's, motor starters and electric motorsExamine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear; replace defective parts and reassembles equipmentPerform repairs and fabrication of piping systems utilizing MIG, ARC, and TIG welding techniquesAssist with the installation and troubleshooting of PLC controlled automated systems including actuated valves, pumps, flow meters, scales and associated interlocks and safety systemsProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine servicePerform simple machinist duties and responsibilitiesPerform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machinesDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustmentsPerform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functionsDetect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervisionPerform building and grounds maintenance including lighting, HVAC, masonry, plumbing and minor electricalWhat you will bring:High school diploma/GEDAssociate's degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance is a plus2+ years of experience in operating processing plant environment such as food processing, chemical processing or pharmaceutical or training equivalent required2+ years of forklift experience preferred2+ years of experience/training in making repairs on typical chemical processing equipmentCompensation & Benefits:The estimated salary that Indeed, Glassdoor and LinkedIn suggested does not represent Nutrien's compensation structure.Salary range$15.65 - $23.48 an hour.
