Description:
This position is will be subject matter expert responsibilities performing line setup and maintenance (scheduled and non-scheduled) of all GMP equipment within operations which includes, but is not limited to, the aseptic filling line (vial washer, tunnel, filler, lyophilizer, capper), compounding system, component preparation, terminal sterilizer for diluent product, small parts washer/dryer, autoclave/VHP pass thru unit, secondary packaging line, vial labeler, vision inspection machine and clean utilities (Di System, Clean steam system, WFI system.
Responsibilities:
• Completes setups/changeovers to ensure efficient, timely and smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems and utilities in the Controlled Classified and non-Classified Production/utility areas (A/B, C, D, clean utility area and packaging area) including but not limited to stopper processor, vial washer, tunnel, capper, filler, autoclaves, VHP pass-thru, small parts washer/dryer, lyophilizer, secondary packaging, labeler, visual inspection machine, Clean steam system and WFI system.
• Responsible for all specialized maintenance, repair and reliability of machinery. This includes performing on-demand and preventive maintenance on all packaging/processing equipment and clean utilities. As well as work directly with vendors to resolve mechanical issues with GMP equipment/utilities.
• Assist other maintenance staff in completing special projects or maintenance work as needed. Assists operations for line qualification/ equipment qualification IQ/OQ/PQ.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Associates degree or combination of education and work related experience.
• Five (5) years or more in manufacturing, pharmaceutical and maintenance repair
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in controlled critical areas (Grades A, B, C, D or ISO5, 7, 8) is preferred.
• Must have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Must be flexible, if needed, to work weekends and holidays
