Job Description:
Supervision of employees as well as ongoing maintenance department.
You will be actively working in the maintenance department as the maintenance manager.
Manager will need to be proficient with (Hydraulics, Electrical, Diesel Engines, and Airbrakes).
Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
Develop and implement schedules and priorities; plan, assist, and supervise the work of mechanics in a wide variety of mechanical equipment; inspect work in progress and upon completion for compliance to standard trade practices.
Keep records and prepare reports of work progress.
Communicate, understand and carry our oral and written instructions.
Coordinate a preventive maintenance program; maintain records of time; materials and equipment used; order supplies and materials as well as perform preventative maintenance on equipment to insure proper and safe operation.
Evaluates employees performance on a timely manner, provide technical assistance and guidance to other personnel.
