About the Position: The pay band NH-04 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-14 to 15. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities. Responsibilities Serves as Branch Chief, providing top management advice on maintenance initiatives and strategies in support of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) equipment/systems. Monitors and directs maintenance management and related operations, to include program execution. Provides expertise in the area of Logistics maintenance systems (e.g. Logistics Modernization Program, Commodity Command Standard Systems, Standard Depot Systems, Unit Level Logistics System, Standard Army Retail Supply System, Standard and others). Responsible for the development and presentation of maintenance budget(s) reflecting monetary requirements for production as well as required procedural/documentation updates/changes. Make decisions on work problems presented by employees and functional personnel, sets priorities and schedules. Consults with appropriate personnel regarding training needs to enhance mission achievements.
