KEYRESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS): Operation Duties: ProductionLH will dispatch MTO. If MTO does not know how to makerepair/adjustment, MTO will dispatch mechanic. Conduct change over ofpackaging equipment with maintenance assistance. MTO is fullyresponsible to ensure correct settings of packaging equipment areachieved. Machine will not start until verified by MTO. Prepares workorders using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)Maintenance Duties: Line Inspections. Cleaning of packaging equipment.Preventative Maintenance on machines when they are not in use. Changeovers on lines. Float lines and look for issues to report back tomaintenance team. This person will be assigned and stationed betweenpackaging equipment. Assist on startup Sunday will prepare machines forproduction Sunday night start up. When breakdown occurs on equipment,they will assist technician on repairs Other duties as assigned.COMPETENCIES: Knowledge of operating requirements and safety precautionsrelated to facilities management. Communicates effectively in speaking,writing, and in listening. Planning is required to effectively manageshift operations. Requires both technical and administrative knowledge.Proactive mind-set and flexibility are important as well as the abilityto work under just-in-time pressures.
