  Working with Pfizer's dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in managing the maintenance and reliability engineering activities involving the redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and production/non-production equipment.

  Your prior work experience and ability to apply your breadth of knowledge will help you adapt the standard methods and procedures. You will help us identify required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput and quality. You will arrive at decisions on which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations.

  How You Will Achieve It

  Manage own time, professional development, and accountability for own results.Prioritize own workflow in a fast-paced FDA-regulated environment and assist in prioritizing the workflow of less-experienced colleagues.Make useful recommendations regarding improved machine performance, providing stakeholders with a full scope of work.Follow safety procedures, recommended practices, job safety analysis (JSA), and safe work permits, and complies with plant safety programs at all time.Coordinate maintenance and project manager activities with production personnel to minimize downtime.Know general shop safety practices, including handling and storing potentially dangerous equipment.Ensure activities comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (also see cGMP), and other related regulatory practices.Read and follow equipment schematics, blueprints logic diagrams, and engineering drawings.Analyze equipment and line problems and implement resolutions through technology programs creating and displaying metrics.Manage Spare parts and Obsolete Parts.Manage CMMS systems review PMs and Workorders.Change management of PMs, SOPs, CAPAs.Work with outside Vendors and OEMs on regular basics.Computer skills with working Excel/Word/Gantt Charts and other project management programs.Work with replacement of parts with products that have a like or equivalent product and provide supporting documentation of replacements through change management.Perform Risk AssessmentsHelp troubleshoot equipment failures.

  Qualifications

  Must-Have

  High School Diploma or GED4+ years of experienceCertification in assigned area, if applicableCourse work {or equivalent experience} in the general or specific areas of electromechanical technologyKnowledge of basic mathematicsKnowledge of the general trades, that is, construction, electrical, machine shopPossess skill to understand and execute simple to complex maintenance task for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automated systemsComputer skills, good written and verbal English communication skills

  Nice-to-Have

  Pharmaceutical and/or Bio-Pharmaceutical experience and knowledge of {Current} Good Manufacturing Practices {part of GxP} operations

  Work Location Assignment: On Premise

  The salary for this position ranges from $30.77 to $51.28 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company's policies.
