JOB SUMMARYDevelops, manages and implements relevant manufacturing solutions ensuring that Jabil production is meeting cost, quality and throughput requirements. Ensurs the optimal functioning of our production equipment and facilities, managing troubleshooting, and repair, along with preventing downtime and improving overall operational efficiency. Regarded as a subject matter expert.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks on electronic manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to soldering machines, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and automated testing equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and electronic issues in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
Collaborate with production teams to understand equipment requirements and prioritize maintenance activities accordingly.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, repairs, and equipment history.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing equipment.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electronics manufacturing technology to make informed recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or technical support.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
3 years of experience with similar responsibilities, in manufacturing environment
Bachelor’s/Master's degree in an engineering discipline required.
Desire and ability to work in both an office and workshop environment by combining formal education with hands-on work in the shop
Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) or equivalent, and email skills required
Recognized as a professional in the trade for area of expertise
Able to actively listen and convey understanding of the comments and questions of others
Knowledge of English and Croatian language
