Conagra Brands is looking for a Maintenance Electrical Technician at the Fort Madison, IA manufacturing plant! You will report to the Maintenance Manager with the openings will be on 2nd or 3rd shift. Conagra offers you a starting wage of $33.95 per hour and advancing to $35.55 per hour in 24 months or less with opportunities to earn up to $40.69 per hour. Conagra offers shift differentials of $0.45 for 2nd and $1.00 for 3rd.

　　Main Responsibilities

　　Repair and maintain all assigned machinery

　　Troubleshoot machinery, analyze, and implement corrective procedures

　　Use all associated tools, machines, and diagnostic equipment

　　Create and close out own work orders and maintain inventory in SAP system

　　Regular, reliable attendance is necessary

　　Overhaul production lines or building structure

　　Ensure efficient operation of all production lines including mechanical services

　　Perform all work conforming to Conagra Foods, federal, state, and local standards and codes

　　Parts manufacture troubles shooting and proper operation of shop equipment

　　Follow all Safety, and Good Manufacturing Policies

　　Exhibit flexibility when required for special projects or any areas of the facility when needed

　　Provide operator training in safety, set-up, and changeover

　　Communicate with shift team members and team members from other shift crews

　　Help with construction type work involving the removal or installation of equipment

　　Perform other tasks and assume additional responsibilities as assigned by Maintenance Manager Qualifications:

　　High school diploma or equivalent

　　Must be able to effectively use the English language, in verbal or written form

　　Must be able to effectively communicate and interpret work instructions and safety rules

　　Ability to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug test.

　　Able to lift 40 pounds consistently

　　Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces

　　Willing and able to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends

　　Ability to learn and accurately interact in SAP

　　Positive team player

　　Excellent analytical and decision-making ability Strongly preferred working knowledge and/or experience in:

　　Hydraulics & Pneumatics

　　Mechanical assemblies (gearboxes, drives etc)

　　Layout and fabrication – includes heli-arc, stick, and gas welding ability

　　Preventive maintenance and repair

　　Basic electrical knowledge (3 phase, breakers, schematic reading, etc.)
