JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Details Job Location Ripon - Ripon, WI PositionType Hourly - Production Job Shift 1st Shift- Day Description Overview:Walsworth is hiring a Maintenance Electrician at our facility in Ripon,Wisconsin. This position\'s responsibilities include working onequipment from large to small in our 250,000 square foot building. Thisfull-time, hourly, overtime pay and benefits eligible role is part of ateam of Maintenance Electricians and Technicians. The work schedule is 7AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday with possible overtime. What You\'llDo in Your Role: As a Maintenance Electrician, you will workindependently and with other plant personnel to troubleshoot and repairproduction and facilities equipment. Also, you will perform routine andpreventive maintenance tasks to ensure maximum equipment efficiency andeffectiveness. Essential Functions: Work safely and maintain a safe workenvironment, follow all plant and department specific safety rules,procedures and policies. Problem solves equipment breakdowns and performnecessary repairs to maintain quality and productivity. Assist in theinstallation of new equipment. Work with outside contractors to installor modify equipment. Do assigned machine preventative maintenance.Properly enter information into computerized Maintenance RequestProgram. Report machine parts and items needed by other departments tomaintenance leadership. Maintain building and grounds and all buildingsystems as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Understand DC andAC principles and components including motors, controllers and PLCs.Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Full understanding ofmechanical maintenance skills. Hands on experience with lathes, milling,presses, welding, hydraulics and pneumatics. Ability to work in a teamenvironment. Ability to work with limited direction and supervision,while demonstrating good judgment and strict confidence. Ability tolearn computer applications as necessary for the position. Ability toread, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, workprocedures and other related materials. Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills including strong customer service skills. Mustcommunicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, squat,climb, and kneel constantly for up to 8 hours.
