This position is guaranteed 40 hoursper week, Monday through Friday, April to November. Duties andresponsibilities include: Trimming shrubs and lower branches of trees;pull weeds and remove dead plants; bagging up leaves, lawn clippings,and other debris; using a back blower to perform general clean-up; mowturf using various mowers; edge grass using a weed-eater along curbs andwalkways; water all plants, trees, and flowers; plant new flowers,shrubs, and trees; install mulch or stones around plants and landscapebeds; cutting back ornamental grasses and perennials; loading andunloading equipment; and routine maintenance on equipment.
Job Information: Need 4 workers. Seasonal. Temporary. H-2B from04/01/2024 - 11/30/2024.
Wage Offers and Availability of Overtime Pay: Worker will be paid noless than \$17.47 per hour. Overtime hours may vary, depending onweather or other conditions, and will be paid at \$26.21.
Worksite Locations: Work will be performed in Olathe, Kansas; theTopeka, Kansas Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA); and the KansasCity, Missouri and Kansas MSA.
Availability of on-the-Job Training: The employer does provideon-the-job training.
Single workweek for pay: Payroll is done weekly on Friday. A singleworkweek will be used in computing wages due.
Provision of Board/Lodging or Other Facilities: The employer does notprovide any type of housing.
Deductions from the Worker\'s Paycheck: The employer will make alldeductions from the worker\'s paycheck required by law.
Inbound/Outbound Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the workerfor transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to theplace of work. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.46per day to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts.
Daily Transportation: Daily transportation to and from the job site willbe provided by the employer.
First Work Week Reimbursement: The employer will reimburse the H-2Bworker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, bordercrossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by thegovernment, incurred by the H-2B worker (but need not include passportexpenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker).
Provision of Tools, Supplies, and Equipment: The employer will provideworkers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required toperform the job.
3/4 Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal toat least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of thetotal employment period.
