　　Responsibilities

　　Monitor personnel or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate service and schedules

　　Confer with team members in other departments and supervising personnel to address questions, problems, or requests for service or equipment

　　Maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information

　　Schedule and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, and service vehicles to appropriate locations

　　Receive, prepare, and relay work orders, messages, and information to work crews and supervisors using telephones or two-way radios a

　　Qualifications

　　High school degree required and considerable experience in clerical work supplemented with some dispatching experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of training and experience

　　Considerable knowledge of office practices, procedures, equipment, and standard clerical techniques

　　Some knowledge of dispatching methods, techniques, and practices

　　Some knowledge of building maintenance needs and service requirements

　　Some knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, and equipment of the building trades
