As a Machinist IV, you'll complete the fabrication of requested material to achieve defined specifications and provide responsive emergency fabrication support. You'll apply your knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures to set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments and fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain our machines and equipment. You'll write more complex programs for engineering drawings for machined part fabrication.

　　Must-haves:

　　High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience

　　A higher-level degree may substitute for experience

　　Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

　　Advanced knowledge and experience with the practical application of machining techniques

　　Advanced experience with machining tools and equipment

　　Preferred:

　　Understanding of 3-D printing techniques

　　Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
