　　8th Avenue Food & Provisions is a growing organization made up of businesses that produce and sell quality products including pasta, peanut butter, granola, and fruit and nut trail mixes to retail, foodservice and ingredient customers. The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. (“THL”), a private equity firm. Responsibilities Key Results Areas: The position, which reports to a Traffic Supervisor, is responsible for being able to observe and learn the process quickly while being proactive and identifying areas that need improvement to insure the product meets specs as well as deadlines for production runs. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and supervisor Must be able to observe process and identify problems before they occur Food Safety Production Areas Notify Supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Perform all duties necessary to meet American Institute of Baking (AIB), Company, and or Government requirements / standards as prioritized by the Inform Management of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes, which become noncompliant with specified Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety Controls further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been Inform Management of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes, which become noncompliant with specified Working Relationship: Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with department, company, and experience in a team-oriented environment is required. Previous experience operating roasting machines is preferred, but not required. Physical Demands: Periodic lifting of up to 25 Pushing and pulling on Must be susceptible to motion sickness The successful candidate should be to observe and learn the process quickly while being proactive and identifying that need to improvement to insure the product meets specs as well as deadlines for production runs.
