JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Machine Operator Level I is responsible forproducing a quality product to the customer\'s specificationsefficiently. The Machine Operator - Level I will also work on continuousimprovements with regard to workmanship standards, standard operatingprocedures, and safety suggestions. Essential Functions: Operateequipment to defined standards and product specification targets atLevel I standards for one or more machine styles Perform minor machineadjustments Perform minor equipment repair Pack finished productMaintain established Quality standards Inspect and examine bags/pouchesfor defects and non-conformances Measure product to customerspecifications Proper packing quantities are fulfilled Work with Qualityteam for non-conformances Troubleshoot a process or machine concern andcommunicate resolutions Accurately document and complete necessary formsWork with multiple teams/departments Maintain a clean work area Followall safety and food safety regulations Perform other miscellaneous jobduties and related functions as needed ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: Requirements: Ability to read and comprehend simpleinstructions, short correspondence and memos is required. The ability toeffectively communicate verbally and through written materials isessential. The ability to effectively present information in one-on-oneand small group situations to employees and others is necessary. Thisposition requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide incommon units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions anddecimals. The ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and draw andinterpret bar graphs is required. The ability to apply commonsenseunderstanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral ordiagram form is needed.
