Description:
Looking for candidates with experience using a ruler/tape measurer
Comfortable operating a computer and entering data
Read detailed work orders to determine setup specifications and efficiently set up your assigned machine
Learn to operate a variety of machines (Cutting machinery, fastening equipment, and measuring tools) efficiently and safely
Initiate trial runs to verify accuracy of machine setup
Meet or exceed daily production goals
Approach everything you do with a quality mindset and adhere to a defined maximum scrap rate on items produced
Follow standard operating procedures, maintain a neat and organized work area
Follow and maintain safe manufacturing practices when working with all machinery
Maintain records of daily production, using paper and electronic forms (Microsoft Excel)
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School or GED required
Computer Skills
Previous CNC operator experience required
Previous production manufacturing experience (1 year or more preferred)
Ability to learn new systems/technology with understanding some work is processed manually
Basic math skills and proficiency in taking measurements
Multiple examples of assisting teammates and working across different departments for short or long periods
Previous success maintaining a strong attendance and on time record
