JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY: This position is an entrylevel machine operator or an operator that operates and monitors onetechnical production machine during initial training period under directsupervision. The position ensures proper procedures are followed andwork is productive, safe, and efficient. This position is for 2nd shiftand hours will be 2pm - 10pm, Monday - Friday. ESSENTIAL DUTIES andRESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibly for safely operating machines andequipment during training under direct supervision Under directsupervision, perform quality checks of all products as outlined indepartmental quality control on inspection procedures and be able torecognize product outside the specified tolerance Developingresponsibility for a clean and orderly work area at all times accordingto 6S along with identifying 6S improvements Actively communicates withmaterial handlers Complete and responsible for device history record(DHR) paperwork and label verification with direction from trainerResponsible for neat and accurate production reports and quality checksheets on a daily basis with direction from trainer Converting /Specialty Ability to safely develop and perform the following operatorduties on one machine under direct supervision - when necessary Loadingof parent rolls on unwinds Webbing machines Tension adjustments Shimmingand adjusting cutting equipment Set-ups Changeovers Ability to safelyoperate the equipment under supervision Learn the quality specificationsfor all products produced on the line and properly report all qualitydefects to the Supervisor or Lead Person. Responsible for properlypacking products off the line under direct supervision.
