Our General Manager started as a Sales Manager and moved up to General Sales Manager before being promoted again.  Another example was one of our current Finance Managers started in Sales.  We advocate "Promote Within" as much as possible.   We offer: * The hourly lube technician position has a pay scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include base hourly compensation of between $16.04 and $20.00. * Medical and Dental * 401K Plan * Paid time off and vacation * Flexible scheduling  * Growth opportunities - promote from within * Paid Training - Honda provides ongoing training opportunities for growth * Employee vehicle purchase plans * Family owned and operated * Long term job security * Health and wellness * Discounts on products and service RESPONSIBILITIES * Check and communicate oil level to other Teammates * Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation * Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary * Complete vehicle inspection * Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter * Clean and lubricate fittings as needed * Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable * Complete any and all Recalls on Vehicle * Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles * Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage * Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks REQUIREMENTS * Ability to identify the problem quickly * Knowledge of automobiles * Effective analytical and communication skills * Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills * Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications * Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment * High school diploma or GED * Technical degree preferred * ASE certifications preferred * Minimum of 1 year in service department * Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Basic computer skills * Positive, friendly attitude  * Willing to submit a background check and drug screen
