Maxim Healthcare Staffingis partnered with a hospital operated by the Department of Public Health (DPH).They are seeking attentive and Registered Nurses (RN) for full time positionswho are passionate about building meaningful relationships and have the abilityto provide outstanding care and service to our patient population.

　　Please Note: There are full time(32 or 40 hours per week) positions available with rotating days off and everyother weekend required. The shifts are:

　　2nd Shift (3:00PM to 11:30PM), working every other weekend withdays off as assigned

　　Details of the position include:

　　Location: Westfield, MA

　　Duration : 13 weeks to start, butstrong chance of extension

　　Facility Type: Long Term Acute CareHospital (looking for nurses that have LTAC experience)

　　Start Date: 2/27/2024

　　POSITIONDESCRIPTION:

　　Performs direct hands-on nursing care using established hospitalpolicies and procedures along with nursing standards of care to ensure aconsistent approach to patient care.

　　Assesses and records the patient’s health status upon admission andtherefore, using the Western Massachusetts Hospital Nursing Assessment process.

　　Develops and maintains an up-to-date written plan of care for eachpatient using nursing diagnosis to identify patient problems/needs, care to begiven and patient goals. The inter-disciplinaryteam is responsible for each element of care.

　　Documents changes in the patient’s condition and care renderedaccording to established nursing service guidelines.

　　Participates and takes actions that are directed by nursing andhospital-wide Quality Assurance activities.

　　Establishes and maintains therapeutic relationships with patients,families and other members of the care team in order to enhance continuity ofpatient care.

　　Maintains personal and professional growth by attending in-services,keeping current with contemporary nursing practice and participation onhospital committees.

　　Participates in employee performance reviews by keeping supervisorsinformed of staff performance through consultation and documentation.

　　Performs duties of charge nurse on the unit for a single shift orregular basis

　　May instruct unit personnel in nursing techniques, procedures andequipment.
