  JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview Cares for patients in the clinic settingunder direction of nursing staff by performing the following dutiessupporting the nursing philosophy. Performs other duties as assigned.Urology Clinic, Janesville WI 72 Hours/2 Weeks Day Shift - No WeekendsResponsibilities Rooms and prepares patient for examination andprocedures Collects patient data and documents in the medical record.Assists with procedures, examinations and testing as needed. Reviewsphysician\'s orders, lab requests, or follow-up needs with patient.Documents services provided in the medical record. Provides patienttreatments as ordered. Observes patients and reports adverse reactionsto medication or treatment to the RN. Administers specified medicationsas allowed by policy and procedure, licensure, and State Practice Act.Reinforces patient teaching provided by Provider and RN. Provides basichealthcare instruction to family and patient. Performs EKG\'s and simplelab tests. Performs venipuncture to collect blood specimens.Participates in QA & I. Orders supplies. Education and ExperienceGraduate of an accredited LPN Program Certification/Licensure Licensedas an LPN in the State of Wisconsin. Approved CPR or BLS certificationrequired within 90 days. Special Physical Demands While performing theduties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands tofinger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Theemployee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee isoccasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or smell. Theemployee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds andoccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilitiesrequired by this job include close vision, distance vision, colorvision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
