Our global team consists of 900 loyalty specialists working across the world, leading the integration of loyalty with payments.
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic issuer business development professional to identify loyalty sales opportunities among financial institutions in Central Europe. The targeted markets include Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Slovenia, Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Poland, Czech, Slovakia. Working alongside the broader Mastercard sales and account teams, you will specialize in creating compelling propositions for clients using our diverse range of loyalty products and vendors. Additionally, you will collaborate with solution architects to sell complex loyalty platforms and programs. This position is an individual contributor role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sell loyalty solutions and services to financial institutions in Central Europe, including new and emerging neo banks.
- Assist banks in redefining their loyalty strategies to achieve better business results by transitioning to a Mastercard loyalty solution.
- Develop persuasive sales narratives, technical solutions, and client loyalty/commercial loyalty models. Demonstrate expertise when presenting to clients during pitches and workshops.
- Facilitate deal closures through contracting and pricing approvals.
All About You
- You are a dynamic and agile business development expert with high energy.
- You possess excellent relationship management skills, presentation skills, a good level of financial and technical acumen, and extensive experience in loyalty and loyalty program management. Preferably, you have a consultative sales approach.
- You have hands-on experience in running or providing consultation for loyalty solutions/platforms for over 3 years.
- You have the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively - both verbally and in writing - in German and in English
