Discovery Community College has an opening in Lower Mainland Region to instruct 

　　Mental Health / Supportive Care 

　　(Lower Mainland, BC) 

　　The selected applicant will instruct courses within the guidelines, and using the curriculum provided by the college. 

　　Start date for this program is middle of January 2024 and will be a 32 hr/wk schedule, for 10 weeks approximately – exact dates and schedule will be advised.  Additional hours may be available following this cohort. 

　　This will include online and in-person instructing at our Surrey and Maple Ridge campuses. 

　　QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

　　Applicants must have: 

　　Certificate related to community support work / mental health / personal support AND 

　　24 months of related occupational experience OR 

　　10 years of related occupational experience Previous teaching experience would be an asset, and good computer knowledge (Excel, Microsoft Teams etc) would be essential.
