The Sales Centralgroup is looking for an individual eager to take on a customer facing role thatinvolves frequently addressing senior members of our Large Gas Turbine customersand brokering large- scale Service Contracts such as LTP (Long Term Programs)and O&M (Operations and Maintenance) Contracts, which account for nearlyhalf of North America’s Gas Service business. A single Service Contractoffer ranges between $25 million to $200 million in value based on theduration, type of unit, and scope.
Thisindividual will lead the development of technical and/or financial proposalswhich includes coordination with many internal support groups, i.e. regionalPlatform Teams, GT Modernizations & Upgrades, Engineering, and ContractManagement groups. Successful outcomes play a significant role in meetingfinancial targets for the United States and Canada. Be an integral part of awinning team that develops dynamic technical and financial proposals for LargeGas Turbines!
How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead a team that is responsiblefor developing creative offers with varying scopes, terms, guarantees, andcompetitive pricing.
Effectively implement the processof taking your offer through management for approvals.
Take ownership of your projectsand drive them through negotiation efforts to contract execution.
Maintain internal tools andapprovals required for business process alignment Sales Force andSharePoint.
Validate financial cost models toensure successful implementation of the project. This may include bundlingmajor upgrades, unique scope, and digital products for the ever-expandingfootprint of the LTPs.
What You Bring
Bachelor of Science Degree inEngineering, Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing or similardegree required.
5+ years of experience in thepower and energy industry, preferred; candidates with moreexperience may be eligible for a higher- level position.
Excellent negotiating abilities;discussing contract terms and conditions as well as technical scopes ofwork.
Proficiency in written and verbalcommunication; effective approach in team and customer settings.
Understanding of GAAP accountingprinciples which dictate how Siemens Service programs recognize revenue.
Ability to develop outstandingcustomer specific solutions through creative and critical thinking to growthe business.
Applicants must be legallyauthorized for employment in the United States without need for current orfuture employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employeeswith current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
