About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities. Responsibilities Evaluates maintenance and support concepts across the portfolio of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Reconnaissance, and Surveillance (C5ISR) weapon systems in acquisition and sustainment. Provides support to Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) directorates, Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Program Managers (PMs), Integrated Logistic Support Management Teams (ILSMTs), and Sustainment Integrated Product Team (SIPTs). Reviews and provides input to support concepts that ensure system readiness, reduce support costs, and enable the transition to sustainment. Advises on product and logistics matters, business planning, metrics management, and all other aspects of logistics management within the area of responsibility. Conducts studies to analyze existing maintenance, cataloging, and industrial base procedures, and recommends improvements in efficiency and effectiveness. Maintains contact with top-level managers within the PM, command, other commands, agencies, and industry. Acts as spokesperson at briefings for the assigned area of responsibility. This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS-12 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS-13 grade step 05 in the broadband. The Control Point for this position is equivalent to GS-13 step 5 at $133,692 including locality at the rate of 33.26%. Management will set the selectee's pay for this position within the control point salary range consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position or if the incumbent's salary currently exceeds the GS-13, step 05 level the incumbent' s salary will be put on a salary control point at the incumbents existing salary.
