　　About the Team:

　　We are looking for a new colleague in the Engineering Department at our Lafayette, IN location.

　　What you can look forward to as Logistics Technician

　　Understand domestic and international regulations related to transport and receiving of company material. Package material to comply with these regulations and process shipments as required.

　　Keep records of all incoming and outgoing material and communicate these movements as required. Maintain complete documentation including photographs and pertinent paperwork.

　　Organize and distribute transactional information such as verify worksheets, receive parts in WMS (Warehouse Management System) and SAP

　　Prepare daily summary reports as regularly.

　　Interact with procurement, order entry, trucking companies, and customers to address issues.

　　Research aged orders to ship product on time to our customers.

　　Investigate pick and pack errors. Enter discrepancies for anything received short, over, or damaged.

　　Cross-train in multiple areas of the distribution center

　　Troubleshoot within the WM system to ensure smooth operations.

　　Support 8D when needed to identify and implement solid actions and avoid recurrence of issues

　　Your profile as Logistics Technician

　　Associates degree from an accredited institution in Engineering or Business. In lieu of Associates degree, High School Diploma with 8 years of relevant work experience will be accepted.

　　Automotive Industry experience is preferred (passenger car, commercial vehicle and/or off highway)

　　Capable of creating and updating sales orders within SAP.

　　Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Power BI).

　　Ability to collect, maintain, and analyze data.

　　Strong time-management skills.

　　Ability to perform mathematical calculations.

　　Familiarity with measurement inspection gauges

　　Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills
