The Logistics Coordinator is accountable for departmental operations in the absence of the department leadership. The Logistics Coordinator will have diverse responsibilities in areas of data input, dispatching and tracking, information management, scheduling, training, and quality assurance/performance improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Dispatching: Analyze dispatch data and update route sheets as needed. Manage incoming call requests, record data online and dispatch courier transport needs. Review fleet GPS history on a regular basis, monitor mileage and condition, organize rotations as necessary and communicate needs to Supervisor and Manager.
Training: Provide day-to-day Courier communication and feedback to Leadership; suggest remedial training and/or competency level assessment if needed. Train and advise Lab Couriers and other Coordinator(s) to ensure compliance with department policies and procedures. Ride along with staff to ensure performance and procedure protocols are being executed at the highest standard
Scheduling: Maintain appropriate staff, equipment and supplies for the scheduled hours of operation at each location. Assist Leaders with coordinating run adjustments and associated scheduling due to staffing limitation or additional courier requests. Prepare and communicate schedule to ensure appropriate coverage of Logistics staff as well as, coordinate daily staffing changes with team members. Maintain accurate attendance logs and Paid Time off (PTO) requests for Supervisor/Manager review and approval. Schedule, Review and approve Kronos on a weekly basis
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
PAY RANGE: $18.75 - $21.50
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
