Logistics Analyst 3
KBR is seeking a Logistics Analyst 3 to support the United States Space Force's (USSF) Satellite Control Network (SCN) in Colorado Springs. The SCN provides highly reliable and secure data transfer, telemetry, tracking, command, control, and communications (TT&C3) for more than 195 Department of Defense (DoD), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), civil, and allied satellites.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyzes, organizes, plans, and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more highly complex programs. Analyzes complex contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements. Develops logistics plans to enhance distribution of goods and supplies. Identifies, prioritizes, and assesses key logistics assets and infrastructures. Develops policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times. Responsible for solving highly technical and complex problems for several projects. Develops and improves processes and direction for projects. Considered as a resource for resolution of unique or complex problems.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
Requires a good working knowledge of Integrated Logistics System - Supply (ILS-S) and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
Develop, implement, document, and maintain an integrated logistics support program that is consistent with the SCN Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP).
Perform Contractor Supported Weapons System (CSWS) support, project planning, data and documentation support, spares analysis, and GOLD database support.
Provide accurate data packages including warranty administration, vendor service agreements andphysical data for government use to populate a spares model.
Provide management for all operational spares under ISS and interface with the SBSS, per direction, to track consumption and usage data. Implement and maintain supply support databases for the data exchange and ensure supply support availability requirements are achieved.
Maintain a Wholesale Inventory Control Point (ICP)/Source of Supply (SoS) that supports SCN.
Procure replenishment required spares to support sustainment requirements.
Monitor warehouse storage for repairable assets for legacy systems.
Perform repair-level analysis to evaluate/document the effect of design alternatives on support costs and operational readiness, and to assist in translating hardware design into detailed support requirements.
Maintain a Parts Management Program for all new designs or modernizations/modifications.
Monitor the identification/marking or tag each repaired item with the company name, contract number, and the date of repair as close as practicable to existing nameplate/identifying markings.
Implement a systematic supply chain risk management program to reduce susceptibilities and vulnerabilities.
Protect against supply chain threats by employing trusted/controlled hardware, software, and firmware development processes, distribution, delivery, and warehousing options.
Establish planning and preventative measures to mitigate counterfeiting risks.
Maintain an active obsolescence/vanishing vendor program to continually monitor equipment and parts, to include COTS, to ensure availability using Diminished Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and Government Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) data.
Evaluate the SCN baseline parts, by configuration item, per approved government schedules.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the logistics field.
Security Clearance:
Secret (or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance)
Basic Compensation:
$85,000 - $110,000
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
