TheLobbyist will work to implement strategic government relations agendacreated by our Vice President of Government Relations, monitorlegislative and regulatory activities, educate legislators andregulators on key issues related to Navitus and our affiliates, anddevelop and maintain professional relationships with elected officials,regulators, and other relevant stakeholders. Promote and advocate for thebusiness goals of Navitus to relevant stakeholders Responsible forindependent analysis of the impact of health policy on Navitus businessincluding the identification of opportunities and risks; andcommunicating those items to internal and external stakeholders. Act asa corporate liaison to industry groups and other stakeholders. Buildbrand awareness and develop relationships with stakeholders throughadvocacy, lobbying efforts, conference participation, and other likeactivities. Assist the Business Units with business development salesefforts, especially with governmental entities, resulting in measurablerevenue impact. Coordinate activities across states and between stateand federal governments. Independently represent Navitus at events andconferences. Develop and recommend legislative positions and strategiesto the Vice President of Government Relations, as well as serve as thesubject matter expert surrounding assigned issues. Draft, proofread, andfinalize a variety of position letters, testimony, proposed legislativelanguage, press releases, witness testimony, bill and policy analysis,articles, action alerts, presentations, briefings, and relatedcommunication methods to support Navitus\' position in a variety ofmatters and for a variety of audiences. Conduct research, interpretresults, and apply findings in recommending policy positions andadvocating city issues.
