Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Loan Service Coordinator based in Gardena, California. This role is situated within the financial industry and requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual. As a Loan Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling various aspects of loan services, including processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Handle collections on non-paying loans and follow up on unpaid loan payments
• Track and manage loan extensions and charges, and monitor incoming payments
• Prepare reconveyances for loan payoffs as requested by title/escrow companies
• Generate monthly and quarterly reports for investors
• Prepare and provide Loan Servicing Agreements and statements to Investors
• Perform other departmental duties as assigned
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of borrower information
• Collaborate with colleagues in different departments to ensure smooth operations
• Uphold ethical standards in all interactions and contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment
• Handle front office/ office manager functions as needed
• Use various software systems including Accounting Software Systems, Accurint, Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, and Microsoft Excel to perform billing functions, collection processes, and provide customer service. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with Accurint
• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)
• Knowledge of IBM AS/400
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Capability to handle Billing Functions
• Understanding of Collection Processes
• Previous experience as a Collector
• Background in Credit processing
• Excellent Customer Service skills
