Growing law firm located downtown Chicago seeks a litigation Legal Assistant. This is a permanent role that offers you the chance to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in commercial litigation processes to ensure smooth legal proceedings.

• Participating in intellectual property litigation when required.

• Ensuring timely and accurate e-filing of legal documents.

• Managing and organizing exhibits for legal proceedings.

• Responsible for document revision to maintain accuracy and relevancy.

• Handling time entry tasks to maintain efficient work schedules.

• Answering phone calls professionally and providing necessary assistance.

• Using your litigation skills to add value to our legal processes.

Requirements

• Proficient in litigation processes and procedures

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

• Knowledge of legal terminology and principles
