JOB REQUIREMENTS: Patrol or monitor recreational areas, such as trails,slopes, or swimming areas, on foot, in vehicles, or from towers. Rescuedistressed persons, using rescue techniques and equipment. Contactemergency medical personnel in case of serious injury. Examine injuredpersons and administer first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, ifnecessary, using training and medical supplies and equipment. Maintainquality of pool water by testing chemical levels. Warn recreationalparticipants of inclement weather, unsafe areas, or illegal conduct.Complete and maintain records of weather and beach conditions, emergencymedical treatments performed, and other relevant incident information.Instruct participants in skiing, swimming, or other recreationalactivities and provide safety precaution information. Inspectrecreational facilities for cleanliness. Inspect recreational equipment,such as rope tows, T-bars, J-bars, or chair lifts, for safety hazardsand damage or wear. Observe activities in assigned areas, usingbinoculars, to detect hazards, disturbances, or safety infractions.Operate underwater recovery units. Provide assistance with staffselection, training, and supervision. Provide assistance in the safe useof equipment, such as ski lifts. Participate in recreationaldemonstrations to entertain resort guests. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCEAND QUALIFICATIONS: CPR and Basic First Aid Certification in addition toprovided Child Abuse Prevention and Blood Borne Pathogens training. *ifyou do not have CPR or First Aid training it will be provided by ourstaff.
