Location & Overview:
Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is currently seeking two full-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work in our outpatient mental health clinics in Yonkers or Hartsdale, New York. The work schedule may be both in person and virtual.

We deliver psychiatric treatment through four main clinics located in the Hartsdale, Yonkers, Mt. Vernon, and Peekskill communities of Westchester. In addition, WJCS has over 80 clinical programs that provide a wide range of supportive community services to more than 20,000 adults, children, and families each year. We work collaboratively with a full multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, licensed practical nurses, social workers, residential managers, home health aides, and peer support specialists. Our collective mission is to strengthen communities by helping people of all ages and backgrounds overcome emotional, cognitive, physical, and social challenges.
Compensation:
$53,000-$56,000.00/yr.Job Highlights:

Typical LPN Duties:
Take vital signs and complete general health monitoring visits.
Screen for psychiatric, substance abuse, and medical problems.
Make referrals to primary care physicians as needed.
Collect urine drug screen and breathalyzer test results.
Administer medications delivered through intramuscular injections.
Complete prior authorizations for specific mediations when prescribed.
Keep electronic health record up to date with lab results, physical exams, and discharge summaries from outside providers or facilities.
Receive and manage medication refill requests.
Assist with scheduling psychiatric appointments as needed.
Coordinate care with outside pharmacies and providers.
Assist with telepsychiatry.
