Integrate Enterprise Risk Management into management practices, definerisk appetite and tolerance, enhance the workforce's risk managementcapabilities, strengthen cybersecurity measures, establish an ERMmaturity model, and train managers on ERM but modified to fit thefunction, circumstances, conditions, culture, and structure of thegovernment client.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate to review and assess the current risk managementprocesses and practices.Collaborate to develop an ERM framework that aligns with OMB A-123and federal best practicesEnsure the framework includes policies, procedures, and tools foridentifying, assessing, managing, and monitoring risks.Develop a risk taxonomy and classification system.Conduct workshops and meetings with key stakeholders to identifyintegration points with existing management practices.Collaborate to develop and implement processes to incorporate ERMinto strategic planning, performance management, anddecision-making.Create guidelines and templates for risk reporting anddocumentation.Facilitate discussions with senior leadership to define theorganization's risk appetite and tolerance levels.Conduct a training needs assessment to identify risk managementknowledge and skills gaps.Develop and deliver training programs and materials to enhance theworkforce's risk management capabilities.Create a risk management competency framework and career developmentplan.Cybersecurity EnhancementAssess current cybersecurity risk management practices.Develop and implement a risk-based cybersecurity strategy inalignment with the ERM framework.Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigatecybersecurity risks.Develop an ERM maturity model tailored to the organization's needs.Conduct a baseline assessment to determine the current maturitylevel.Develop a roadmap for advancing the organization's ERM maturityover time.Develop a comprehensive training program specifically designed formanagers, covering all aspects of ERM.Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars to equip managerswith the necessary skills and knowledge to implement and oversee ERMpractices.Provide ongoing support and resources for managers to maintain andenhance their ERM capabilities.Use advanced analytical skills to calculate the risk of a businessdecision. Analyze and report this information including suggestionsfor mitigating the risk.Other duties as assignedJob Requirements:
Min 5 years of experience with analytical software evaluatingcurrent risk management processes and practices, developing, andimplementing new risk management strategies, conducting ERMtraining, and developing tailored ERM maturity modelsCertifications that would be useful include PMP, CISA, CRISC, CISSP,CISMWorking knowledge of applicable Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)laws and guidance (e.g., OMB, GAO, FMFIA, GPRA).Min 5 years of experience working directly with small to mediumgovernmental agencies.Benefits:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Theposition may require typing and reading from a computer screen. There is a possibility that due to parkingavailability and the location of work, walking moderate to longdistances may be required. Possible lifting up to 50 lbs.
