PM shift differential- \$2.00 per hour,Night shift differential- \$3.00 per hour Responsible for providingnursing care to clients on assigned area. Supervises/directs subordinatenursing personnel - e.g. nursing assistants per RN directive.Responsible for assisting the RN in a variety of client care activities.Completes delegated work-related tasks as assigned by the RN. EssentialDuties Administers and documents medications and treatments on theelectronic MAR as prescribed by physicians and according to establishednursing policy/procedure. Makes rounds with physician and completesorder entry in Avatar under supervision of the Registered Nurse.Maintains current information on new medications, dosages and sideeffects. Provides medication teaching with client/family as indicated inclient care plan and as directed by the Registered Nurse. Providesnursing care to meet the physical, emotional and psycho-social needs ofthe client. Participates in the development of client care plans.Implements provisions of client care plan. Observes and documents changein client behavior/condition and inform RN accordingly. Participates inemergency or crisis situations as directed by the Registered Nurse.Assists with admissions, discharges and transfer of clients. Maintainsrecords, reports and documentation in accordance with departmentalstandards. Maintains a clean, comfortable and safe environment forclients.
