　　The Vermont Veterans\' Home is currently recruiting LNAs to join acompassionate team dedicated to providing best in class care to ourCountry\'s Veterans, their spouses, and Gold Star Parents. We arededicated to providing a professional and fun environment where staffmay thrive and grow all while giving back to our Nations Heroes. Ourstaff provide person-centered, trauma informed care to residents with awide range of physical and psychiatric disorders.

　　This position involves patient care and treatment work at the aide levelin a long-term care setting, working an assigned shift. Work assignmentsare performed under the direction of a Licensed Practical Nurse and/orRegistered Nurse. In-service training courses are required and staff areencouraged to pursue continuing education.

　　We currently have one (1) part-time position on the day shift, 6:00 amto 2:30 pm and one (1) part-time position available on the night shift,10:00 pm to 6:30 am. These positions require working twenty-four (24)hours per week, including weekends and holidays.

　　Starting pay is \$20.40 per hour and may be negotiable based onexperience and qualifications. Shift differentials, as applicable, willapply to hours worked on weekends and nights. The positions are eligiblefor benefits. They are limited-service positions that expire on12/09/2024.

　　Environmental Factors

　　Duties are performed in a long-term care and residential care setting.Incumbents may be assigned to any area of the facility and to any shift.Requires standing for long periods of time, walking for extended periodsand distances, sitting, repetitive movements, bending, twisting,stretching, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Duties require regular anddirect interaction with residents with varying degrees of physical andmental illness, dementia, infectious diseases, severe physical andmental limitations, and residents who may display unpredictablebehavior. Incumbents predictably encounter high levels of stress andemotional situations, exposure to potentially physically and verballyviolent patient populations and exposure to infectious disease.
