PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $24.90-$30.38 hourly. The full Pay Range is $20.19-$35.96 hourly. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Lending Solutions Specialist
IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:
As a Lending Solutions Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our members, providing expert guidance on consumer lending products, real estate secured loans, business lines of credit, and Visa products. You will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch service, driving sales, and maximizing member engagement. Your focus will be on understanding and addressing members’ financial needs, expanding relationships, and promoting high-value added solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
· Use Financial Services Experience: Adhere to BECU Competencies, Compliance, Regulatory, and Information Protection Requirements.
· Act as a Technical Resource : Use your experience with credit, including Business, Real Estate Secured, and Consumer Loans. Deepen and retain member relationships through full utilization of Member Advantage program and other BECU programs.
· Build Great People Skills: Conduct Interviews and Complete Loan Applications for Various Lending Products, Ensuring Accuracy and Thorough Documentation. Identify appropriate appraisal report options and provide automated valuations for real estate secured loans.
· Member Services: Focus on building high value added relationships to optimize BECU revenues and enhance member value. Utilize comprehensive knowledge of Credit Union key objectives, products, and services to effectively communicate recommendations for member needs.
· Collaborate with Your Team: Work with Internal Resources to Develop Cross-Division Sales and Member Engagement Strategies, Capture Market Opportunities, and Enhance the Member Experience. Mentor new employees on lending products, procedures, and application data entry.
· Occasional Travel
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work/educational experience.
• Minimum two years of financial service sales experience or three years combined experience with outbound sales and financial services.
• Solid understanding of the sales process and efficient sales pipeline management.
• Effective analytical and math skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to comply with SAFE Act legislation which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO)
Desired Qualifications:
• Successful completion of consumer loans and member service training program with at least one year of experience as a Member Consultant.
• Experience in originating Lending Applications.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Thorough knowledge of RESPA, HMDA, Fair Lending, ECOA, and HUD rules and regulations.
