ROBERT HALF is partnering with an industry leading law firm in Westlake Village in their search for a Legal Assistant to join their team. This position supports a great team of attorneys in partnership with a paralegal and offers on the job training. This position is on-site 5 days a week at their beautiful office with free parking. This is a contract to hire opportunity for the right candidate. The role primarily involves providing support to lawyers, managing calendars, and handling administrative tasks in a legal industry setting.

Responsibilities:

• Providing front desk support, serving as the first point of contact for clients and visitors

• Retrieving and distributing mail

• Helping to input time in Clio

• Managing and maintaining lawyers' calendars, ensuring schedules are up to date and appointments are not missed

• Preparing and emailing statements to clients

• Providing administrative support, which constitutes approximately 60% of the role

• E-filing with courts

Requirements

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of legal experience, the more the better!
