In this position you willensure the development, organization and coordination of facility and community resources toprovidecomprehensive Wellness/Recreation/Activity Services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each tenant.Our Community Life Directorprovidesan ongoingprogramof community life activities. These activities are designed to meet,in accordance withthe comprehensive Recreation/Wellness Assessment, the interests and preferences to encompass the Physical, Social, Intellectual, Emotional, Spiritual, Vocational, and Environmentalwell-beingof each tenant.Duties include: Providea Community Life programdailyincluding evenings andweekends. Purchase andmaintainequipment and supplies andprovide fortheir accessibilitythroughorganizedstorage. Establishes Conduct, attend andparticipatein orientation, training, in-service educationactivities, and staff meetings as assigned tomaintaincompliance. Communicate programs and develop positive relations with tenants, family, and volunteers. Ability to train and motivate others while acting as a role model and mentor. Must be compassionate and have a desire to make a difference in the lives of the tenants.
