SUMMARY OF POSITION:* *The Department of Chemical and Biological Sciences at Youngstown State University seeks a motivated individual with outstanding teaching skills to provide instruction primarily in undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses in anatomy/physiology and general biology.
Multi-section laboratory coordination duties, such as management of graduate-level laboratory teaching assistants, may be assigned as needed. Designs, organizes, teaches, and provides summative feedback to promote and direct student learning.
POSITION INFORMATION:* *Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:* Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures:* None
Minimum Qualifications: Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences; prior teaching experience in college-level biology courses.
Preferred Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or a related discipline. Lecture and laboratory teaching experience in anatomy/physiology courses, including courses of eighty or more students.
