　　The successful candidate will join the Shared Services Centre based in Cherrywood Business Park, Loughlinstown, Co Dublin.

　　Based on the new FASB publication on the treatment of leases (ASC 842), the HUB has an opening for a Senior Financial Accountant. This individual will help support the implementation of FASB’s new lease accounting standard across EMEA. The role will execute project plans to ensure timely completion of the project. For the project design, build and roll out, this role will serve as the primary link between the Corporate Project Team on Lease Accounting and the various EMEA assigned leads in the HUB, CFS and Division FP&A.

　　This role will be responsible for the ongoing support of the lease accounting process which will be centrally managed by the HUB in each region.

　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Serve as lead for Center Of Excellence (COE) in lease accounting for EMEA region and to ensure accurate and timely posting of lease accounting entries in accordance with the new standard.

　　As part of COE , coordinate technical questions on complex contracts through corporate accounting and share across regional HUBs.

　　Ensure proper implementation of accounting changes and establish required journal entries

　　Drive process standardization initiatives to ensure consistency in data inputs, tracking and reporting.

　　Monitor the newly implemented lease software and serve as primary regional liaison with various divisions / entities.

　　Primarily responsible for the coordination of tax and audit requests related to the lease accounting tool.

　　Provide ad hoc data analysis to support decision making.​

　　Minimum Requirements

　　Accounting Qualification preferred – ACA, ACCA, CIMA

　　2-3 years relevant experience – preferably with Shared Service Centre and multinational corporation background

　　Leasing experience preferred

　　SAP or other major ERP Systems experience is desirable

　　Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential

　　Able to work alone to understand and summarise financial data into high quality, accurate and usable summaries

　　Ability to manage multiple deadlines.

　　Ability to work under pressure.

　　Strong Team Player.

　　Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

　　Strong computer skills especially MS Office

　　Ability to challenge the status quo and have a positive, proactive attitude
