Description We are offering a role in the accounting industry located in Lehi, Utah, United States. This role will be centered around lease accounting and will involve the use of Oracle and ASC 842 lease accounting standards. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all ASC 842 lease accounting-related matters.

• Set up, implement, and ensure the proper functioning of the lease accounting system in Oracle.

• Understand and address complex lease accounting issues for tangible and intangible assets.

• Ensure the accuracy of lease accounting data and oversee all related compliance activities.

• Provide comprehensive training and support to team members on the use of newly implemented lease accounting systems.

• Regularly update the management team on the project's progress and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

• Conduct regular audit checks to ensure that all lease accounting processes and protocols are being followed correctly.

• Assist in developing effective lease accounting policies and procedures.

• Utilize analytical skills to assess and improve lease accounting processes.

• Document processes and maintain meticulous records for future reference. Requirements • Must have a degree in Accounting or a related field

• Proven experience in a similar role as an Accounting Manager

• Proficiency in Oracle is required

• Familiarity with ASC 842 lease accounting standards

• Must have a solid understanding of GAAP Accounting and US GAAP

• Experience in creating and maintaining Process Documentation

• Strong analytical skills are crucial

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
