  Description

  Leadership Onboarding & Training Manager

Amazon Australia Customer Fulfillment Operations is looking for a Learning Experience Manager to join the Learning & Development (L&D) team, to lead the development and deployment of learning solutions and innovation focusing on the journey of our front-line Fulfillment managers and team leaders.

If you are passionate about designing and executing world leading leadership development solutions at scale, this is your chance to make history. We are looking for a learning professional with exceptional skills in: learning solutions design, project management, capability building, and stakeholder management.

The ideal candidate will have a hands-on-approach, be a creative and analytical problem solver, have experience in deploying technical led learning solutions and understand adult learning theories. They will be able to quickly build and leverage relationships across a wide stakeholder group, and be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, high energy environment. Furthermore, you will have a proven track record of coordinating multiple initiatives at once, managing trade-offs across competing priorities, and delivering results.

  Key job responsibilities

Development and Deployment of Learning Solutions: Leverage leading learning technology or internal curriculum to encourage behavioural shifts and enhance learning outcomes in learning journeys. Your expertise in utilizing technology to augment learning experiences will be pivotal in ensuring that learning programs are not only effective but also innovative and future-proof.

Making Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to refine your facilitation approach and make significant, impactful changes to learning programs. Your adeptness in interpreting data and translating it into actionable insights will be vital in continuously enhancing the effectiveness and impact of learning programs across the organization.

Championing Change Management: Navigate through the complexities of extensive change management, ensuring learning programs are aligned with organizational shifts and developments. Your role will involve identifying, advocating, and facilitating change, ensuring that learning initiatives are adaptable and resilient to the evolving organizational landscape.

Network & Collaboration: Build and utilize a network for collaboration, facilitating meetings with department heads and directors, and ensuring learning solutions are collaborative and holistic. Your ability to forge and nurture relationships across various departments and levels will be crucial in ensuring that learning solutions are integrative and aligned with broader organizational objectives.

  A day in the life

As a Learning Experience Manager, your role blends creativity with strategic planning to build an exceptional program that will drive facilitation excellence. You use various technologies to enhance learning experiences and influence behaviour of our front line leadership team.

Initially focusing on developing and deploying solutions, your day will then blend into data analysis to improve engagement, expertly manage change, and aligning learning initiatives with team goals. You will collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to create a holistic learning solution. This creation will be aided by your expertise in adult learning, technology, data interpretation, and fostering relationships. There will be elements of the role that will require you to build from the ground up and deliver the right things with limited guidance but also opportunities to leverage best practices, and curriculum from other global cross-functional internal teams.
