  Job Summary:

  The Learning and Leadership Experience Manager will be responsible for consulting with senior leaders within both Field Operations and the Talent Management team to proactively identify the learning and leadership needs to drive the desired outcomes of the business. This individual will be responsible for creating learning and leadership strategies to support our Field leaders and team members, and leading their own team to oversee the execution of these strategies.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Uncover business needs and understand what outcomes and/or team member behaviors need to be changed.

  Bring strategy to life by collaborating with the Talent Management team and/or vendors to design and develop complete and effortless learning experiences.

  Lead a team of learning and leadership professionals to see strategy through to execution and implementation.

  Consistently measure the progress of learning and leadership initiatives and communicate the results through a lens of continuous improvement

  Partner with the Talent Management team and Field Operations leaders to integrate a skills-based learning and development strategy into everyday work to create a co-ownership of talent development within the business.

  Work with leaders to set strategies for managing change and work with teams to develop and implement tools to assist team through the change.

  Own our mobile learning and operations platform – PlayerLync, and continue to build a user experience that integrates learning content and experiences into the flow of work.

  Develop a future forward strategy to integrate AI and mobile capabilities into our learning strategy to continue meeting the evolving needs of the business.

  Critical Skills:

  Ability to develop a strategic vision with clear outcomes and translate that strategy to action

  Ability to work both with the business and cross functionally across HR

  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  Critical thinker with effective problem-solving skills

  Effective collaborator; listening to all viewpoints and ideas

  Strong project manager; ability to organize and complete multiple projects at once

  Inclination for thoughtful action – move at the pace of retail

  Ability to analyze and leverage data to influence decision making.

  Requirements:

  Bachelor’s degree; CPTM certification desired

  Solid background and knowledge within Retail and/or strong knowledge in learning content and experience theories and models

  Experience successfully managing large scale projects

  Passion for learning and development

  Passion for retail and desire to learn and know the business

  In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $109,000.00.
