TITLE: Lead Software EngineerLOCATION: 51 Mercedes Way, Edgewood, NY 11717 DUTIES: Investigate system and programming problems, propose solutions and recommend design improvements. Analyze product requirements and translate them into detailed system functionality by working with internal organizations and/or clients. Handle workload to completion in timeframes provided to meet client timelines. Develop architectural components in support of business requirements and standards for application development. Build system and program test plans and procedures. Develop test data and performs the unit testing. Lead other team members in the coding, testing and debugging of application programs. Design software and aspects of the development, configuration, customization, unit testing, and maintenance services. Handle sophisticated programming assignments and develop mainframe applications. *Position is based out of Edgewood, NY office however candidate is eligible to work remotely from any state in the U.S. where Broadridge is authorized to do business, with manager & HR approval.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related IT field plus 5 years of related experience.
