　　Summary

　　HII Mission Technologies is seeking a talented Senior System Engineer to design, build, and maintain the cloud-based training systems for the US Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) at Hurlburt Field, Florida. Your efforts will directly improve the strength of the US Air Force Special Forces in regional and cultural awareness, asymmetric warfare, and personal development.

　　This is a highly visible and mission critical position. You will brief command leadership at AFSOC and be responsible for the success of this program. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, strong engineering problem solving skills, and the ability to eliciting design details from stakeholders.

　　What you will do

　　Communicate and document system requirements, design, architecture, and performance using reports, model-based diagrams, charts, and presentations

　　Collaborate with engineers, Subject Matter Experts, and managers across different disciplines and domains to ensure the system meets the desired objectives and specifications

　　Use System Engineering best practices to develop, integrate, operate, and maintain the system.

　　What you must have

　　15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.

　　Electrical Engineering degree preferred. Other engineering degrees considered.

　　Experience developing systems with cloud architectures

　　Proficient in creating reports and presentations with Microsoft Office products

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical information to clients, stakeholders, and team members

　　Strong ability to read and interpret design drawings and network schematics

　　Strong leadership skills and ability to lead and mentor team members

　　Current or active DoD secret security clearance

　　This position is on-site in Mary Ester Florida.

　　Must be a U.S. Citizen

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)

　　Project Management Professional (PMP)

　　UML, SysML, DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or other Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience

　　DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification

　　Requires technical leadership with ability to coordinate six teams building dozens of products.

　　Recommend broad (but not necessarily deep) experience in cloud, cyber security, networking, and web based development.

　　Preferred experience designing or developing solutions for: Identity and Access Management, Single-Sign On, Android tactical systems, containers, microservices, cross-domain solutions, mobile content management, mobile device management, building size networks, online training systems

　　Recommend experience building DoD web based systems.

　　Must be great at tracking multiple risks, issues, action items, and tasks across multiple products.

　　Requires conversing and fielding questions with managers, team leads, and engineers on a daily basis.
