Lead Salesforce Administrator
This position will help maintain and drive enhancements to our Salesforceplatform. The candidate must have hands-on administration and configurationskills with the latest Salesforce releases, the ability to handlefirst-level user support/training requests, and experience designingadvanced reports and dashboards. They must have a sales and service-orientedmindset and a passion for learning, working with, and evangelizing theSalesforce platform.
A Typical Day Might Include the Following:
Perform ongoing system administration (maintaining user roles, securitysettings, profiles, automation, and data integrity).Maintain reporting and dashboards within Salesforce. Assist with ad hocreporting requests and optimize the user experience related to reports anddashboards.Manage dashboards, reports, forms, templates, custom objects, objectrelationships, fields and layouts.Help drive end-user adoption of Salesforce through documentation, supportand training of new and current employees.Act as a Subject Matter Expert for a team of Salesforce Administrators,answer questions, own process decisions.Manage the relationship with vendors related to Salesforce packages andintegrations.Establish and maintain data quality throughdaily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting. Salesforce user administrationtasks, including access management, permission sets, role assignmentsand profile management, etc.Maintain data quality through ongoing data analysis, recordde-duplication, and other related tasks, and identify and implementprocess improvements that contribute to improved data quality.Provide first-level support to the sales, marketing, service, finance,and operations teams, including issue identification and issueresolution/escalDesign and implement custom objects and advanced functionality such as complexflows or validation rules, based on project roadmap and strategic initiatives.Evaluate and implement third party solutions and app exchange packages basedon project need or business request.Identify and evaluate new features and functionality related to the Winter,Spring, and Summer release management schedule provided by Salesforce.Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual & quarterly goals.Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, and Specific Job-Related Skills
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree from 4 Year accredited College/University, orequivalent experience.
Experience Requirement:
6+ years of experience in Salesforce AdministrationSalesforce Administrator Certification
Experience Preferred:
Demonstrated proficiency in user security, profile and role management,custom objects, workflow and validation rules, email templates,formulas, dashboards & reporting.Must be experienced Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word,Excel, Visio and Power Point.Must be detailed oriented and have strong problem solving and analyticalskills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.Able to meet deadlines, communicate delays, clarify ambiguous situations.Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and pick up new skillsets quickly.
