Summary The USDB mission is to create and maintain "FIRST CHOICE" vocational programs for military offenders. The USDB Sales Store is the only sales outlet for products produced in these programs. Responsibilities Responsible for the overall operation of a department within the sales store. Operates a cash register, records sales and gives change. Opens and closes registers according to established procedures. Prices merchandise and make it available to customers in store. Assists customers in making selections or recommends substitute merchandise. Monitors stock levels, participates in formal inventories. Enforces operating procedures and established standards. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Experience in retail sales, merchandising, cash register operations and inventory controls. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
