This local custom machine builder is looking for a robotics tech with a desire to mentor, manage, and oversee projects and other robotics techs. Looking for a technician from a custom machine or engineering environment - not maintenance.

　　Will primarily be programming robots to talk to each other, implementing safety features, and working with other Engineering teams to complete projects for customers.

　　Travel 20-30% Local (within 3 hr)

　　Skills Utilized:

　　Fanuc startup (Image backup/restore, AOA backup/restore, IO Setup, mastering, reference verification, zero position confirmation, core software updates, aux axis setup, etc.).

　　Other manufacturers; Motoman, ABB, UR

　　Specialized functions/operations; vision systems, vision guided picking, vision guided placing, vision user frames, TCPs, remote TCPs, palletizing, etc.

　　Process; welding, dispense, material handling.

　　Complex tasks; multiple aux axis, collision avoidance, unique aux axis kinematics

　　Other; PLC <> Robot communication setup/debug, third party integration (communication, debug, IO mapping, handshakes, process)

　　MUST HAVES:

　　Motoman, Fanuc, or ABB - have to have 2/3

　　hands on engineering experience - experience in custom machine or engineering environment

　　Desire to lead and mentor other engineers as well as oversight on projects

　　Nice to have:

　　PLC programming

　　AutoCAD Electrical
