Position OverviewResponsible for completing maintenance and daily operational activities with high quality and managing material, equipment, expenses and a crew to ensure work is completed in a timely, safe and profitable manner. Fosters teamwork, positive work environment and overall safety of yourself and others.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions* Follow directions of Plant Manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.* Assists in scheduling and developing Operations plan for daily, weekly, Monthly task and customer needs.* Completes all administrative duties accurately and in a timely fashion.* Consistently monitors expenses and stays within budget.* Completes paperwork and customer requirements in a timely fashion.* Manages material and equipment ordering.* Creates comprehensive, accurate scopes of work and clearly relays the information needed for the crew to operate safely and efficiently.* Ensures that all work at each jobsite is completed safely. Makes adherence to company and MSHA safety procedures a top priority.* Basic knowledge of maintenance and mining equipment* Acts as a role model and leader within and outside of the department.* Demonstrates and models strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations.* Has excellent organizational skills and initiative to improve processes.* Communicates regularly with Mine Manager and Assistant Manager.* Maintains knowledge of industry trends and helps ensure company's compliance.* Ability to work both individually or as part of a team.* Follow directions of Plant Manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.* Must be able to maintain acceptable attendance in a flexible work schedule.* Must maintain at all times a strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures.* Must be available to travel and work from other company facilities as needed.* May perform other duties including but not limited to operating equipment.* Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
Supervisory Responsibilities* Lead Person is responsible for all team members assigned to his/her specific project or work area.
