WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As part of the Consumer Direct Marketing, Partner Marketing team, you’ll manage the overall development of seasonal and daily marketing activations for our performance authenticators. You will be an integral part of the team identifying industry shifts across retail, sport, and culture and then partnering cross-functionally to shape how we build deep connections with our consumers and communities. Activities of the role include bringing the brand strategy to life for key sport dimensions such as Running and Football. You will also support retail brand plan briefs including but not limited to innovation storytelling through creative, fixtures, and services. You will execute O2O marketing programs including (but not limited to) integrated digital and physical brand initiatives, in-store experiences and grassroots network building activities.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
In this role you will report directly into the Japan Consumer Direct Marketing, Partner Marketing Director. You will work cross-functionally with key wholesale accounts & partner internally across sales, merchandising, planning and marketing teams to drive brand strength, fuel consumer demand and build our long-term connection with consumers. You will partner with our Japan marketing leaders, the Asia Pacific Latin America geography and Global Brand Marketing teams across Nike to build more effective and efficient ways to encourage and connect with athletes. You will also be responsible for managing key agency and vendor partner relationships. This is a team sport and will require consistent collaboration, partnership and consensus across the Nike matrix.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree or higher, or combination of relevant education, training, and experience
Minimum 5 years of work experience in digital/online marketing or related field or minimum 7 years of work experience in lieu of a degree.
Outstanding leadership skills with growth mindset to influence functional teams and large cross-functional projects.
Understanding of O2O marketing strategy and tactics across key channels including physical retail, digital apps, email, .com experiences, paid media and social
Clear written and verbal communication skills, including presentations.
Comprehensive grasp of the Running & Football landscape, culture, and consumers in Japan
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Japanese and English. This includes the ability to facilitate meetings and present in both languages.
