  WHAT YOU'LL DO

  As a Lead Knowledge Analyst (LKA) in a Client Focused role within BCG's Consumer Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized knowledge assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data and related expertise, etc.). You will contribute to proposals and cases through thought partnership in your area of expertise, deliver original analyses and insights helping drive strong impact with clients. While contributing to client cases, workshops and proposals, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions.You will support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector working, in conjunction with business leaders, providing insights & advice for proposals and client workshops. Additionally, as a Lead Knowledge Analyst, you will lead development of intellectual property & assets for the business and mentor and guide junior colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise.The candidate Is expected to have deep understanding of the Indirect procurement process. Experience should Include: RFP design and process, Indirect Procurement System understanding (Jaggaer and Coupa), and bid analysis.   YOU'RE GOOD AT

  * Ability to work autonomously and with a strong entrepreneurial thinking spirit. The candidate will need to develop a strong business-building focus in order to operate/influence effectively stakeholders in an international matrix organization and identify where the Knowledge Team can be involved to better support case teams

  * Consulting skills and approach will be key to succeed in the role when supporting case teams

  * Solving complex client problems through relevant analytical approaches and customized solutions in your area of expertise

  * Engaging senior stakeholders and client team members, delivering targeted communication based on stakeholder settings

  * Managing projects with ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating business sense and adaptability

  * Training, coaching, and mentoring junior team members

  * Working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment

  YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  * 3+ years consulting experience in relevant Indirect procurement topics required, candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred

  * In lieu of consulting experience, 4+ years minimum industry experience required; 6-10+ years of industry experience strongly preferred

  * Ideally, experience with Jaggaer and Coupa procurement management systems

  * Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)

  * Proficiency in PowerPoint, utilizing data to reach conclusions (Excel, Alteryx/Tableau, and/or other digital tools

  * Experience with business intelligence solutions for data analysis, visualization, cost modelling, and reporting

  * Strong problem-solving capabilities

  * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  * Deep understanding and expertise in relevant Indirect procurement topics

  * Fluency in English; other languages requested in certain locations

  As a Client Focus KT, you will work face to face with clients and with BCG Project Leaders, Associates and Consultants. In the period between cases, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients.   ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.

  BCG's Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA's business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
